Russia’s Lunar Lander Crash On The Moon’s Surface

The latest news about crashing Russian robotics comes in the news. The Russian space agency said on Sunday that citing the results of a preliminary investigation of a day lost the contacts of the vehicle. And this is a setback for the whole country. 

After their successful deportation of the satellite in orbit. The Luna 25 landed Russia’s first space launch to the moon in 1970. The spacecraft fired its engine to enter the Orbit but it would set up for the lunar landing.

Then an emergency occurred. According to the news of Roscomos Sunday, they lost contact with spacecraft 47 after starting the engine firing. After establishment communications failed and Luna 25 deviated from its fixed orbit.

Roscosmos states:

ceased its existence as a result of a collision with the lunar surface,

An interagency commission was formed to investigate the reasons for the failure. Luna 25 which launched on August 11 was the first mission for reaching the moon’s south polar region. The loss of the lander is a less risky project of the mission and adds scrutiny to the Russian space struggle. In the past four years, three lunars were attempted.
