Have you ever heard about Green Hat Hackers? Typically people are aware of two types of hackers, White Hat and Black Hat. Recently another type of Hackers was born, Green Hat Hackers. These types of hackers are less dangerous.
Green Hat Hackers are the beginner hackers. They are learning and developing new skills to become a white hat hacker or a black one. Don’t underestimate they might not seem like a professional but they can do many things which can harm you.
Some green hat hackers are also a part of Script Kiddies. Unlike Black Hat or White Hat professional hackers, they don’t invest in learning or developing new skills. They only have the basic knowledge and instead of sharpening their knowledge they buy malware, hacking tools, and scripts.
Any youngster can become a green hat hacker. The government and educational systems of several states organize competitions like Hackathons, CFT Speed Run, Hack The Box, etc to encourage students to become white hat hackers.
In the USA teachers teach students about cybercrime attacks just like drug abuse. However, the feeling of anonymity, lack of a notion of cybercrime, and desire to please and be praised, are the things that can lead someone to become a black hat hacker.
